IMPROVED GUTTER BROOM SEGMENT AND ASSEMBLY ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A gutter broom assembly and a brush segment for use therein, wherein the segment has self-locking lugs formed thereon which are readily engaged in apertures formed in a broom support plate to thereby fix the segments to the plate. The gutter broom in- cludes several segments which, when assembled on the support plate, provide a broom periphery which alter- natively form peripheral "cam lobes" or "discontin- uities" serving to increase the agitation imparted to larger pieces of debris, whereby such debris is readily displaced from a gutter wall rather than being gently pushed ahead of the broom along the gutter wall.
