The gypsum board strip cutter is a manually operated tool for cutting and removing strips of gypsum board from a sheet or piece of gypsum board. The tool may be made of metal or plastic. It has a firmly secured replaceable blade protruding into a groove or grooves. The edge of the gypsum board is placed into the groove and by manually sliding the tool along the gypsum board the gypsum board is cut. The tool may be made with the quantity and variety of grooves of the widths and depths appropriate for the desired cut.
