A haemostatically active aerosol composition comprises from 0.005 to 0,25 parts by weight of microdispersed polyanhydroglucuronic acid and/or salts thereof and from 0.75 to 0.005 parts by weight of a dispergating/propellant system. The system includes liquids which are non-polar or of low polarity with a surface tension of less than 30 mN/M and a permittivity at 10 kilohertz of less than 10. One example of such a system is isopentane and dimethylether.

L'invention concerne une composition d'aérosol à action hémostatique qui comprend 0,005 à 0,25 partie en poids d'acide polyanhydroglucuronique microdispersé et/ou des sels de celui-ci, et 0,75 à 0,005 partie en poids d'un système dispersant/propulseur. Le système comprend des liquides qui sont non polaires ou d'une faible polarité et présentent une tension superficielle inférieure à 30 mN/M et une permittivité, à 10 kilohertz, inférieure à 10.
