A hair styling cream comprising: i) an aqueous lamellar phase comprising a) cationic surfactant and b) fatty alcohol having a melting point greater than 35oC and/or fatty acid having a melting point greater than 40 oC; and ii) 20 wt% or greater of one or more non-volatile liquid emollient(s), the viscosity of any single non-volatile emollient or the viscosity of a blend of non- volatile emollients being less than 1000 mPa.s at 35oC and 5 s-1.
