A hair colorant applicator includes a deformable container (2) of colorant having a cap (4) to which a sponge (6) is affixed. The sponge communicates with the interior of the container via an aperture (22). The colorant is provided in a two-part form wherein one part is contained in a subcontainer (8) suspended within container (2) which contains the other part of the colorant mixture. A forcing member (15) is provided for conveying rupturing force from the cap to break subcontainer (8) into an upper portion (12) and a lower portion (10) thereby mixing the two parts of the two~part colorant. The sponge may be wetted to a desired degree by squeezing deformable container (2). The applicator provides a means for precise and convenient retouching of hair roots and hairline.
L'invention concerne un applicateur de colorant capillaire, comprenant un récipient déformable de colorant (2) présentant une coiffe (4) à laquelle est fixée une éponge. L'éponge communique avec l'intérieur du récipient via une ouverture (22). Le colorant se présente en deux parties, une partie étant contenue dans un récipient secondaire (8) suspendu dans le récipient (2), lequel contient l'autre partie du mélange colorant. Un élément de pression (15) assure la transmission d'une force de rupture à partir de la coiffe, afin de sectionner le récipient secondaire (8) en une portion supérieure (12) et une portion inférieure (10), de manière à mélanger les deux parties du colorant. L'éponge peut être humectée à un degré voulu, par pression exercée sur le récipient déformable (2). L'applicateur constitue un moyen pour retoucher de manière précise et commode les racines des cheveux et la ligne de contour de la chevelure.
