HAIR CONDITIONING PRODUCT James H. Donovan Abstract of the Disclosure Hair conditioning products and methods. Hair con- ditioning agents, such as ditallow dimethylammonium chloride, are releasably affixed to one surface of a substrate. The substrate, which must be flexible, impervious, and nonabsorbent, is provided with a backing sheet. In use, the product is passed over and through the hair so that the hair conditioning agent is trans- ferred from the product to the hair. Preferably, the hair has been shampooed and is still damp at the time the product is used. After it has been treated with the product, the hair is easier to comb and detangle when wet and exhibits, when dry, enhanced softness, luster, and manageability.
