A liquid hair cosmetic composition comprising: (a) from about 0.1 % by weight to about 10 % by weight (acid basis) of a silicone- containing polycarboxylic acid copolymer having a vinyl polymeric backbone, and having grafted to the backbone a silicone-containing macromer having a weight average molecular weight of from about 1,000 to about 50,000; (b) a neutralising system consisting essentially of sodium hydroxide present at a level sufficient to neutralise at least about 25 % of the acid groups on the silicone-containing copolymer (c) from 0 % to about 1.0 % by weight of water, and (d) the balance comprising a carrier suitable for application to hair. The liquid hair cosmetic products have improved clarity and storage stability and demonstrate excellent hair styling benefits in addition to hair feel attributes and ease of removal and brush out.
L'invention concerne une composition cosmétique capillaire liquide comprenant: (a) environ 0,1 % en poids à environ 10 % en poids (sur une base d'acide) d'un copolymère d'acide polycarboxylique contenant une silicone, présentant un squelette polymère vinylique, et gréffé sur le squelette un macromère contenant de la silicone présentant une masse moléculaire moyenne au poids comprise entre 1000 et environ 50 000; (b) un système neutralisant constitué essentiellement d'hydroxyde de sodium dont le niveau est suffisant our neutraliser au moins 25 % des groupes d'acide sur le copolymère contenant de la silicone, (c) 0 % à environ 1,0 % en poids d'eau, et (d) le solde étant constitué d'un excipient adapté à l'application aux cheveux. Les produits cosmétiques capillaires liquides présentent une limpidité ainsi qu'une stabilité en stockage améliorées et d'excellentes caractéristiques de coiffure ainsi que de toucher des cheveux, et de facilitées d'enlèvement et de brossage.
