ABSTRACT: The invention relates to a hair-cutting apparatus with a drivable cutter and a stationary cutter, in which the two-cutters have teeth which extend transversely to the direction of driving and in which the cutting edges of two co-operating teeth enclose a cutting angle. It is frequently of importance that the cutting properties of such apparatus can be varied so as to enable it to be adapted to the purpose for which it is used and to the skill of the user. The invention has such a variable adjusting facility for its object and provides a hair-cutting apparatus in which the position of the cutters relative to each other is adjustable in a direction which is substantially trans- verse to the direction of driving, the magnitude of the cutting angle being variable depending on this adjustable position. -8-
