2087544 9201438 PCTABS00010 A hair dye is composed of a fluid, aqueous oxidizing dyeing composition (A) and of a fluid, aqueous oxidizing composition (B) that are mixed immediately before being applied to the hair, with a weight ratio between A and B comprised between 1:2 and 2:1, in order to form a gel-like dyeing product. The oxidizing dyeing composition contains as carrier 0,5 to 5 % in weight of a liquid fat acid, 1 to 5 % by weight of a C2-C6-polyol, 1 to 10 % by weight of an addition product of 1 to 5 moles of ethylene oxide to a C12-C22-fat alcohol and/or 1 to 6 % by weight of an addition product of 1 to 4 moles of ethylene oxide to a linear fat alkylamine having 12 to 22 C atoms, and if necessary 0 to 10 % in weight of a compound having the formula (I): R1-(OC2H4)x-A-(C2H4O)y-R2. The oxidizing composition (B) preferably contains 3 to 10 % in weight of hydrogen peroxide, 0,1 to 5 % by weight of a water-soluble, synthetic tenside and 1 to 5 % by weight of a dispersed acrylic and/or methacrylic acid polymer or copolymer.
