ABSTRACT OF INVENTION Disclosed herein is a component for a hair grooming attachment for a curling iron having a handle and a heating element extending from the handle, which component comprises an annular plurality of arcuately spaced support bars having opposite first and second ends located in spaced relationship, a first end member retaining the first ends of the plurality of support bars in the spaced relationship, a second end member retaining the second ends of the plurality of support bars in the spaced relationship, and hair grooming means on the plurality of support bars.
