(Translation) 27392-5 Hair rollers Abstract: The hair roller (1) has an essentially cylindrical, preferably hollow cylindrical winding body (3) that is possibly provided with perforations (2) and has flanges (4) in the region of its two ends. The flanges (4) are provided with bores (5) that run parallel to the axis of the winding body (3) and are prefer- ably evenly distributed over the circumference of the flanges. The bores (5) of the two flanges (4) are arranged coaxially to one another and at least one rod (6) can be pressed into these same bores. To be able to roll strands of hair onto the winding body with, in sections, an alternating rolling direction, it is provid- ed that the bores (5) extend up to the outer periphery of the winding body (3) and be open at the edge in the area of the outer surfaces of the flanges (4), whereby the inside diameter of these openings (7) is slightly less than the diameter of the bores (5) which corresponds to the diameter of the rods (6).
