The invention relates to a hair shaping appliance comprising a handle (1), a shaping rod (2) joined to said handle (1), an evaporator (9), a reservoir (15) from which the evaporator (9) can be supplied with evaporation liquid, and a metering device (19) with which the amount of evaporation liquid entering the evaporator (9) can be regulated. According to the invention, an actuating button (34) is provided on the handle (1), is connected to the metering device (19), and enables the metering device (19) to be actuated by the hand gripping the handle (1). A one-hand operation of the appliance including the delivery of steam is possible thereby rendering the operation of the appliance, particularly on the back of the head, considerably easier. The invention also provides that the reservoir (15) is displaceably mounted and the metering device (19) is actuated by a corresponding movement of the reservoir (15). In order to improve the filling of the reservoir (15), the reservoir (15) has a lid (17) which, when the reservoir (15) is attached, is covered by a section of the appliance, and which is accessible, or rather, open only when the reservoir (15) is detached.
La présente invention concerne un appareil de mise en forme des cheveux composé d'un manche (1), d'une tige de mise en forme (2) reliée au manche (1), d'un évaporateur (9), d'un réservoir (15) destiné à alimenter un liquide d'évaporation à l'évaporateur (9), et d'un système de dosage (19) permettant de commander la quantité de liquide d'évaporation alimentée à l'évaporateur (9). Selon l'invention, le manche (1) comporte un bouton d'actionnement (34) relié au système de dosage (19) et permettant l'actionnement du système de dosage (19) à l'aide de la main saisissant le manche (1). Ledit appareil peut être manipulé d'une seule main, y compris la projection de vapeur, ce qui facilite considérablement la manipulation dudit appareil, notamment dans la zone de la nuque. Selon l'invention, le réservoir (15) est logé de façon mobile et le système de dosage (19) est actionné par un mouvement correspondant du réservoir (15). Pour améliorer le remplissage du réservoir (15), celui-ci comporte un couvercle (17) recouvert par une partie de l'appareil à l'état monté du réservoir (15), et pouvant uniquement être accessible ou ouvert à l'état démonté du réservoir (15).
