The invention is directed to a hair styling implement adapted to be attached to an air outlet opening of a hair dryer and equipped with a housing and a plurality of hair pickup ele- ments and an adjusting means that is movable relative to the housing. In this arrangement, at least one locking means is provided which is adapted to be located in at least two posi- tions; in a first position, the adjusting means is lockable with the housing, and in a second position in which the hair styling implement is attached to the dryer, the housing is lock- able with the hair dryer.
