Hairdressing tongs (1) comprising heating pads (3 and 5) fixed to the end of two arms (11 and 13) of a handle (7). According to the invention, a central element (9) of the handle (7) serves as a guide for the arms (11 and 13) which can be moved from a completely contracted position, bringing the two heating pads (3 and .5) into complete contact, to a position of maximum separation, bringing the two arms (11 and 13) into a position of contact with the stops (19) of the central element (9), spring elements (23) maintaining the maximum separation of the arms (11 and 13) in the absence of action on the arms (11 and 13). Used for straightening/styling, allowing the dexterity of the user to be exercised by modifying the relative position of the pads, either in parallel position or favouring contact at the front or at the rear.

Utilisation comme défriseur-modeleur permettant à l'utilisateur d'exercer sa dextérité en modifiant la position relative des patins, soit en position parallèle, soit en privilégiant le contact par l'avant ou l'arrière.
