ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is concerned with a hair treatment composition comprising lipase, wherein the lipase is one produced by microorganism selected from the group consisting of Staphylococcus capitis, Rhyzopus delemer, and Candida cylindracea or obtained from swine pancreas, the lipase being present in an amount of about 0.001 to about 50 IU in a single dose. The hair treatment composition according to the invention can effectively prevent the generation of dandruff and itching and can also effectively acce- lerate the growth of hair.
