The invention concerns a method for treating hair keratin fibres to provide them with new appropriate properties, comprising the following steps: reducing the sulphur bonds of hair keratin to generate, only at the surface of the fibres at a depth less than 10 µm. reactive sites and in fixing covalently on said reactive sites at least one active compound for providing the hair keratin fibres with new appropriate properties, said active compound containing at least a reactive function capable of reacting with said reactive sites formed at the keratin fibre surface. This method is applicable to the treatment of fibrous or non-fibrous keratin substances of human or animal origin.
Procédé de traitement des fibres kératiniques des cheveux en vue de leur conférer de nouvelles propriétés appropriées. Ledit procédé de traitement comprend les étapes consistant à réduire les liaisons disulfures de la kératine des cheveux en vue de générer, uniquement en surface des fibres à une profondeur inférieure à 10 µm, des sites réactifs et à fixer de façon covalente sur lesdits sites réactifs au moins un composé actif susceptible de conférer de nouvelles propriétés appropriées aux fibres kératiniques des cheveux, ledit composé actif comportant au moins une fonction réactive capable de réagir avec lesdits sites réactifs formés en surface des fibres kératiniques. Ce procédé trouve une application dans le traitement de substances kératiniques fibreuses ou non fibreuses d'origine humaine ou animale.
