A HALF-TONE SCREEN FOR AN ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTING MACHINE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An electrophotographic printing machine in which a screen moves from an inoperative position remote from a photoconductive member employed therein to an operative position closely adjacent thereto. As the screen moves from the operative position to the inoperative position, particles are cleaned therefrom. In addition, the spacing between the screen and photoconductive member is adjustable.
