ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A thermoplastic elastomer composition is disclosed, comprising a halobutyl rubber cured by dynamic vulcanization with a multifuncitonal amine curing agent. The cure is effected in the presence of at least 20 parts of a mixture formed from 10 to 60 parts of a polyolefin and 1 to 90 parts of a thermoplastic elastomer. The parts are based on 100 parts by weight of said rubber.
