Abstract of the Specification The present invention relates to the novel 2,6-dichloro- 3'-fluoro-4-trifluoromethyl-4'-nitro-diphenyl-ether, to a process for its manufacture and to its use as herbicide. The active compound according to the invention can be used as a selective herbicide, with particular advantage in crops of cotton, rice, carrots and cereals (including maize). When used in higher amounts (approx. 10 to 20 kg/ha) it is also suitable as total weedkiller. - 1 -
