The present invention relates to halogenated, low-gel, high molecular weight isoolefin multiolefin copolymers, in particular to halogenated, low-gel, high molecular weight butyl rubbers, and halogenated, low-gel, high molecular weight isoolefin multiolefin copolymers synthesized from isobutene, isoprene and optionally further monomers, with a multiolefin content of greater than 2.5 mol%, a molecular weight M w of greater than 240 kg/mol and a gel content of less than 1.2 wt.% and a process for their preparation.

La présente invention concerne des copolymères de multioléfine isooléfine halogénés, faibles en gel, de poids moléculaire élevé, en particulier des caoutchoucs de butyle halogénés, faibles en gel, de poids moléculaire élevé et des copolymères de multioléfine halogénés, faibles en gel, de poids moléculaire élevé synthétisés à partir d'isobutène, d'isoprène et éventuellement d'autres monomères, ayant une teneur en multioléfine supérieure à 2,5 mol %, un poids moléculaire M w supérieur à 240 kg/mol et une teneur en gel inférieure à 1,2 % en poids, ainsi qu'un procédé pour leur obtention.
