HALOGENATED HYDANTOINS ABSTRACT A halogenated hydantoin product end method of producing same for use as e.g. a bleaching agent or disinfectant comprising a halogenated hydantoin of the formula Image wherein R is methyl or ethyl and X1 and X2 which may be the same or different is chlorine or bromine, either as the sole constituent or in sdmixture with halogenated disnethylhydantoins. The products are substantially dust-free, free-flowing and upon compaction form a solid product of high physical integrity.
