Halogenated sulphides, processes for their preparation and their use in microbicidal agents A B S T R A C T The new halogenated sulphides of the formula Image in which R5 to R8 are identical or different and denote hydrogen or halogen, at least one of the radicals R5 to R8 representing halogen, selected from the group consisting of chlorine, bromine and iodine and A and B are both nitrile, can be prepared by halogenation of bis-(cyanoethyl) sulphide, or by splitting off hydrogen halide from a halogenated bis-(cyano- ethyl) sulphide, or by reacting 3-halogeno-acrylonitriles with sulphides. The new compounds can be active compounds in microbicidal agents.
