What I claim as my invention is a hand held tool to be used as a nail driving instrument which comprises of hammering peen, and a remarkable jaw device for extracting nails or spikes. This tool virtually eliminates the difficult job of extracting nails with heads embedded in wood, including removing the nail with minimum damage to the wood or nail. This unique tool consisting of a handle connected to the main body consisting of a peen for hammering and a set of jaws that automatically clamp on to nail head or nail shank, jaws consisting of a primary and a secondary fulcrum, giving extreme leverage to extract nail, because of close proximity of fulcrum to the nail head or shank and wedge assembly for opening or closing jaws.
