Oil-in-water emulsions comprising one or more fatty acid esters are effective as a "waterless" cleanser in the removal of soils from the skin whilst at the same time potentially serving to effectively moisturise the skin. An aqueous hand cleanser formulation is provided comprising: (a) up to 25 % by weight of a fatty acid ester or mixture of such esters; (b) at least one emulsifying surfactant; and (c) from 75 to 99 % by weight of water.
L'invention concerne des émulsions huile dans l'eau renfermant un ou plusieurs esters d'acide gras, qui sont efficaces comme détergent "à sec" pour enlever des salissures de la peau, et servent en même temps potentiellement à hydrater la peau de manière efficace. L'invention concerne une formulation aqueuse de détergent pour les mains, qui renferme: (a) jusqu'à 25 % en poids d'un ester d'acide gras ou d'un mélange de tels esters; (b) au moins un tensio-actif émulsifiant; et (c) de 75 à 99 % en poids d'eau.
