A hand-held brush is provided for grooming. The brush comprises a body section (8) and a head section (10) connected therebetween. The body section (8) includes two opposing half curved portions (12, 16) and a base portion (14). The head section (10) includes two opposing half oval portions (24, 20), first (23) and second protruding ears (21), and a crown portion (22) connecting the ears. The closed figure achieved by the combination of these elements results in the outline of any number of different types of animals. Attached to a bottom side of the brush are a plurality of cone shaped bristles (32). The brush is flexible such that the body and head sections flex independently and continuously along the surface of the animal being brushed. The bristles (32) also substantially conform to the surface being brushed and are made of the same material as the body and head sections.

L'invention concerne une brosse à main de toilettage. Ladite brosse comporte un corps (8) et une tête (10) reliés entre eux, le corps (8) étant constitué de deux parties opposées (12, 16) à moitié ovales et d'une base (14). La tête (10) se compose de deux parties jouflues opposées (24, 20), d'une première (23) et d'une seconde (21) oreilles saillantes et d'une partie courbe reliant les oreilles. La figure fermée obtenue par la combination de ces éléments peut représenter les contours de différents types d'animaux. Une pluralité de poils coniques (32) est fixée à la partie inférieure de la brosse. Ladite brosse est flexible de sorte que son corps et sa tête fléchissent indépendamment l'un de l'autre et en continu sur la surface de l'animal en cours de brossage. Les poils (32) suivent les contours de la surface brossée et sont dans la même matière que le corps et la tête.
