An apparatus comprising a drive motor (8), two coupling devices (20, 28) linked to the motor and engageable by a whisk and a mixing arm (38) respectively, an electrical switch (71) operated by means of a button (67) having an "off" position, a number of "continuous on" positions and a "selective on" position, a vertically movable ejector (51), and a mechanical assembly (72) for preventing continuous operation when the mixing arm is in place. Said mechanical assembly comprises a movable member (74) which releases the ejector when the whisk is in place, said ejector having an engagement tab (53) enabling operation of the button when said ejector is in the raised position, and locks the ejector (51) in the lowered position when the mixing arm is in place. The engagement tab (53) of the ejector locked in the lowered position locks the button (67) on the side corresponding to its "continuous on" positions.

Cet appareil comporte un moteur d'entraînement (8), deux dispositifs d'accouplement (20, 28) associés au moteur et destinés à recevoir respectivement un fouet et un pied mixeur (38), un commutateur électrique (71) actionné par un bouton (67) avec une position "arrêt", plusieurs positions "marche continue" et une position "marche instantanée", un éjecteur (51) mobile en hauteur et des moyens mécaniques (72) interdisant la marche continue en présence du pied mixeur. Selon l'invention, ces moyens mécaniques comportent un organe mobile (74) adapté, d'une part, à rendre libre l'éjecteur en présence du fouet, lequel éjecteur en position haute ayant un doigt d'attaque (53) laissant libre la manoeuvre du bouton, et d'autre part, à bloquer l'éjecteur (51) en position basse en présence du pied mixeur, le doigt d'attaque (53) de l'éjecteur bloqué en partie basse bloquant le bouton (67) du côté correspondant à ses positions "marche continue".
