A self-defense device (16) and a method of use, the device including: (a) a chamber having: (i) a rigid outer wall section (10), and (ii) a flexible outer wall section (13) attached to the rigid outer wall section; (b) an ejection assembly fixed inside and extending through the outer wall of the chamber, the ejection assembly including: (i) a tube (28) extending through the chamber, and fluidly communicating therewith; (ii) a nozzle (24) attached to an upward end of the tube and extending through the chamber, and (c) a noxious fluid disposed within the chamber, wherein the chamber is designed and constructed so as to be completely filled by the fluid, and wherein external pressure exerted upon the flexible outer wall section increases an internal pressure of the chamber, such that the fluid is forcefully ejected out of the device through the ejection assembly and out of the nozzle.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'autodéfense (16) et un procédé d'utilisation correspondant. Ce dispositif comprend: (a) une chambre comportant (i) une section de paroi externe rigide (10), et (ii) une section de paroi externe souple (13) fixée à la section de paroi externe rigide; (b) un ensemble d'évacuation fixé à l'intérieur de la chambre et s'étendant à travers la paroi externe de la chambre, cet ensemble d'évacuation comprenant: (i) un tube (28) s'étendant à travers la chambre, et en communication fluidique avec celle-ci: (ii) une buse (24) fixée à une extrémité supérieure du tube et s'étendant à travers la chambre et, (c) un fluide nocif placé à l'intérieur de la chambre, cette chambre étant conçue et construite de manière à être complètement remplie par le fluide, la pression externe exercée sur la section de paroi externe souple augmentant et la pression interne de la chambre étant telle que le fluide est évacué de force hors du dispositif à travers l'ensemble d'évacuation par le biais de la buse.
