"In a hand held signal device for vehicular traffic control at crosswalks, the device is known to have an octagon shaped metal sign mechanically connected to a rigid plastic handle. The device is further comprised of two four-function flashing lights each comprised of five light emitting diodes manually actuated by a momentary switch fixed to the handle. The operator may choose the desired light function by compressing the momentary switch. The device is further enhanced by light reflective materials on two sides of the metal octagon indicating the letter S.T.O.P."
