A hand-held, thumb controlled trackball ergonomically configured apparatus for manipulating an electronic control signal in a computer. An elongated element adapted for grasping by hand includes a top wall mounting a thumb controlled trackball, a bottom wall mounting a pair of input buttons, an outwardly curved side surface having a curved grip adapted to be held by a human hand. The elongated element has a pair of input control buttons positioned on the bottom wall and mounted in relation to the curved grip of the bottom wall so as to allow operation of the pair of input control buttons by an index finger tip and a middle finger tip. Thumb control trackball is mounted on the top wall of the elongated element for controlling a curser on a display screen of a computer. Wherein said trackball has a mounting element of rollers
