ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention discloses a hand piece adapted to support an optical fibre as a wavequide for a laser beam for a surgical laser knife, The hand piece comprises a semiflexible or movable tube which receives an end portion of the optical fibre. Thus, the end of the optical fibre is held at the end of the tube. The device includes a holder portion to receive the optical fibre which has one end connected to the other end of the tube. With this device, it is possible to direct the laser beam exactly to a point under any condition, which has hithertobefore been difficult.
