A steerable sports scooter (10) including a bi-laterally pivotable independent forward portion (12), a hand-operable direction controller (14), and an independent rearward portion (28) in secured communication with the forward portion (12) and having a support surface (30) upon which to stand. Preferably, the forward portion (12) of the scooter (10) is angularly adjustable for selecting approach pitch, which the rearward portion (28) includes a brake member (60). The brake member (60) may be a manual brake member or a mechanical brake member. The scooter may be a snow scooter (10). The snow scooter may include a skag (64). The skag (64) may be detactable and may be connected to the brake member (60). A preferable direction controller (14) is a stem (26) with a handle bar set (20) for grasping and turning by hand. Most preferably, the stem (26) is in axially pivotally attached communication with the forward portion (12) for selectively moving the stem (26) between a generally vertical and a generally horizontal orientation to thereby permit folding upon the snow scooter (10) for easy carrying and transport. The steerable scooter (10) so defined permits the user thereof to easily ride and maneuver over a snow surface for an enjoyable experience. The snow scooter (10) may include a wheel component(s) (96) or a tread (84) positioned below the rearward portion (28) to facilitate movement of the scooter (10) through snow.
L'invention concerne une trottinette de sport orientable comprenant une partie avant indépendante pouvant être pivotée de manière bilatérale, une unité de commande de direction manuellement actionnable et une partie arrière indépendante en communication fixée avec la partie avant et possédant une surface de support sur laquelle l'utilisateur se tient. De préférence, la partie avant de la trottinette peut être adaptée au niveau de l'angle, de manière à sélectionner l'inclinaison d'approche, alors que la partie arrière comprend un élément de frein. Celui-ci peut être un élément de frein manuel ou un élément de frein mécanique. La trottinette peut être une trottinette des neiges pouvant comprendre un aileron. Celui-ci peut être amovible et être relié à l'élément de frein. Une unité de commande de direction préférée est une tige dotée d'un ensemble de guidon destiné à être saisi et tourné manuellement.
