Abstract Of The Disclosure A hand tool is provided with a handle having a substantially polygonally-shaped cross-section to prevent rolling of the tool. The handle includes a substantially-hollow handle portion having an open forward end portion telescopically received at least partially within a nose piece, and the nose piece carries the shank of the hand tool. An end cap is carried by the hollow handle portion, and the end cap has a rearward face provided with size indicia (and preferably color coded) for user recognition and selection. A ribbed elastomeric sleeve is carried by the handle portion and is retained axially between a shoulder on the nose piece and a shoulder on the end cap. In one embodiment, the end cap has a plurality of studs received and secured within complementary pockets formed in the handle portion; and in another embodiment, the end cap is formed integrally with the handle portion.
