Data is input, character by character or stroke by stroke, to form a line of text and the system looks up in a dictionary using the entered line of text data and tests if there is a unique data which include the entered line of text data and with (1) the leading part of data to unique, or (2) the first part and some other following data be unique, or ( 3 the stem of word and the last one be unique, or the stem of word and the other data in the remaining part be unique, (4) the first part and the last data be unique, or the first part and the other data in the remaining part be unique, respectively in the dictionary. What was determined to be unique is replaced with the data input, relevant words stored with the unique data may be displayed for the selection. No more input is not necessary after find the unique one.
