The invention relates to a handheld analyzer (1) for testing a sample, in particular of a biological fluid, for a medically significant component. It comprises a test unit (20), which detects the correct positioning of an analytical consumable means (10) in a conveyance pathway. According to this invention, the test unit (20) has both an electric switch component which mechanically senses the positioning of the analytical consumable means (10) and an optical sensor unit which optically senses the positioning of the analytical consumable means (10) on the conveyance pathway. The handheld analyzer (1) is controlled as a function of a comparison of the signals of the electric switch component and the optical sensor unit. It is possible in this way to reduce malfunctions or operating errors associated therewith.
L'invention porte sur un analyseur à main (1) conçu pour tester un échantillon, notamment un fluide biolgique, en vérifiant la présence d'un composé significatif sur le plan médical. Celui-ci comprend une unité d'essai (20) servant à détecter le bon positionnement d'un support d'analyse consomptible (10) sur la piste d'un dispositif d'acheminement. Selon l'invention, l'unité d'essai (20) est équipée d'un commutateur électrique qui détecte mécaniquement la position du support d'analyse consomptible (10) et d'un capteur optique qui détecte par un moyen optique le positionnement du support d'analyse consomptible (10) sur la piste du dispositif d'acheminement. L'exactitude de l'analyseur à main (1) est contrôlée en tant que fonction d'une comparaison des signaux du commutateur électrique et du capteur optique. On peut ainsi réduire les défectuosités ou les erreurs d'exploitation éventuelles associées à son utilisation.
