Abstract A handle for a hand tool comprises a shank, a sheath, and an intermediate member which fits between the shank and the sheath. The intermediate member fills the space between the shank and the sheath, to allow the sheath to be moulded to any desired external shape and yet have uniform wall thickness, and still be securely held to the shank.
