ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a handle for a kitchen utensil, specially for a knife. A handle core is made of a rigid synthetic resinous material fixed to a main body of the utensil. A surface layer is made of a soft synthetic resinous material formed by way of injection on the handle core which is supported by support member in a cavity of a mold and spaced from a front inner wall, two lateral inner walls and a rear inner wall of the cavity. Ribs are arranged on a lateral sides of the surface layer in the longitudinal direction conforming to the shapes of the fingers of users. A rear end face of the surface layer has a through hole for receiving the support member. A plug is fitted in the through hole.
