A handle for a corrugated cardboard box that can prevent deterioration in the appearance of the box. The handle is formed by a cut that defines a handle portion. There is a bendable part connecting both edges of the handle portion. Openings are formed where both edges of the handle portion meet the bendable part and these act to disperse stress applied to the handle portion. In a preferred embodiment, the box includes a packing piece, for example of polystyrene. The bendable part comprises a plurality of lines any one of which can be selected as the bend depending on the position of the packing piece within the box.
