The present invention relates to a handling device (10) for elements of tapping runners on a shaft furnace, in particular for runner covers. This device comprises a support base (12) arranged on the cast house floor of a blast furnace, laterally of the tapping runner and a frame (14) which is supported by the support base (12) and connected thereto by means of a bearing (38) defining a first axis of rotation (A), which is essentially vertical and about which the frame (14) can rotate relative to the support base (12). The device further comprises a lifting arm (16) having a first end portion (18) and a second end portion (20), the first end portion (18) being connected to the frame (14) by means of at least a first rotational joint (22) defining a second axis of rotation (B), which is essentially horizontal, about which the lifting arm (16) can pivot in order to lower or lift its second end portion (20). A handling member (24) is connected to the second end portion (20) of the lifting arm (16) by means of a second rotational joint (54) defining a third axis of rotation (C), which lies in a plane essentially perpendicular to the second axis of rotation (B), about which the handling member (24) can pivot with respect to the lifting arm (16). Furthermore, the handling device (10) comprises a fork-type grab (26) connected to the handling member (24) and arranged so as to allow picking up; transferring and putting down such elements. The present invention also concerns the use of this handling device (10) in a blast furnace installation, the handling device (10) being installed between two proximate main runners (76, 78) extending radially from the blast furnace (75), for removing, parking, installing and/or exchanging both runner covers (70, 70') of both blast furnace main runners (76, 78).
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de manipulation (10) pour des éléments de canaux de piquage sur un four à cuve, en particulier pour des couvercles de canaux. Le dispositif comprend une base de support (12) montée sur le fond de la chambre de coulée d'un haut fourneau, sur le côté du canal de piquage, ainsi qu'un châssis (14) qui est soutenu par la base de support (12) et qui y est relié au moyen d'un coussinet (38) définissant un premier axe de rotation (A) qui est principalement vertical et autour duquel le châssis (14) peut tourner par rapport à la base de support (12). Le dispositif comprend également un bras de levage (16) qui présente une première partie d'extrémité (18) et une seconde partie d'extrémité (20). La première partie d'extrémité (18) est reliée au châssis (14) au moyen d'au moins une première articulation rotative (22) définissant un deuxième axe de rotation (B) qui est principalement horizontal et autour duquel le bras de levage (16) peut pivoter afin d'abaisser ou de lever sa seconde partie d'extrémité (20). Un élément de manipulation (24) est relié à la seconde partie d'extrémité (20) du bras de levage (16) au moyen d'une seconde articulation rotative (54) définissant un troisième axe de rotation (C) qui repose dans un plan principalement perpendiculaire au deuxième axe de rotation (B) et autour duquel l'élément de manipulation (24) peut pivoter par rapport au bras de levage (16). De plus, le dispositif de manipulation (10) comprend un appareil de levage de type fourche (26) qui est relié à l'élément de manipulation (24) et qui est monté de manière à pouvoir prélever, transférer et descendre de tels éléments. Cette invention concerne également l'utilisation de ce dispositif de manipulation (10) dans une installation de haut fourneau, le dispositif de manipulation (10) étant installé entre deux prochains canaux principaux (76, 78) qui s'étendent dans la direction radiale à partir du four à cuve (75), afin de retirer, d'immobiliser, d'installer et/ou d'échanger les deux couvercles de canaux (70, 70') des deux canaux principaux de haut fourneau (76, 78).
