The invention relates to a device (100) for handling the hoods (33) of a cell for producing aluminium by fused bath electrolysis comprising a positioning device (110) and a hood gripping system (160). Said positioning device (110) comprises a vertically guiding member (101), a movable support (120) which is mounted on said guiding member (101) in such a way that it is displaceable at least in a vertical direction by using a hinged arm (130), a first sub-frame (140) which is mounted on the hinged arm (130) in such a way that it is pivotable around a first axis of rotation (A) which is substantially horizontal in operation, wherein said hinged arm (130) is at least remotable from and closable to the first sub-frame (140) of the movable support (120), a motor (141) for pivoting the first sub-frame (140) about said first axis of rotation (A), a second sub-frame (150) mounted on the first sub-frame (140) in such a way that it is displaceable along a first pre-determined translation axis (B) which is substantially horizontal in operation and means for moving the second sub-frame (150) along said first translation axis (B). The hood gripping system (160) is fixed to the second sub-frame (150) and comprises a predetermined arrangement of gripping members (161) for catching a predetermined arrangement of hoods (33) at a predetermined number of fixing points. Said invention makes it possible to carry out an accurate and automated hood handling.
L'invention a pour objet un dispositif (100) de manutention des capots (33) d'une cellule de production d'aluminium par électrolyse ignée comportant un dispositif de positionnement (110) et un système de préhension (160) des capots. Le dispositif de positionnement (110) comporte un organe de guidage vertical (101), un support mobile (120) monté sur l'organe de guidage (101) de façon à pouvoir être déplacé au moins dans une direction verticale en utilisation, un bras articulé (130), un premier châssis (140) monté sur le bras articulé (130) de façon à pouvoir pivoter autour d'un premier axe de rotation A sensiblement horizontal en utilisation, ledit bras articulé (130) étant au moins apte à éloigner et à rapprocher le premier châssis (140) du support mobile (120), un moteur (141) pour faire pivoter le premier châssis (140) autour dudit premier axe de rotation A, un deuxième châssis (150) monté sur le premier châssis (140) de façon à pouvoir être déplacé le long d'un premier axe de translation B déterminé, qui est sensiblement horizontal en utilisation, et des moyens pour déplacer le deuxième châssis (150) le long dudit premier axe de translation B. Le système de préhension (160) des capots est fixé au deuxième châssis (150) et comprend un ensemble déterminé d'organes de préhension (161) destinés à saisir un ensemble déterminé de capots (33) en un nombre déterminé de points de fixation. L'invention permet une manutention précise et automatisable des capots.
