The invention relates to a handpiece of an electric toothbrush having a housing in which a drive unit is received. Said housing has a front or rear housing opening that can be closed by a cover in a preferably moisture- and liquid-proof manner. Snap-in means are provided on the housing and/or the cover for snap-locking the cover on the housing. The aim of the invention is to provide a combination of snap-in and threaded engagement for releasing the snap-in connection between the cover and the housing. For this purpose, at least one draft taper or curve, increasing in relation to the longitudinal axis of the housing, is provided on the housing and/or the cover. The cover can be axially lifted using said draft taper by twisting it about the longitudinal axis of the housing and the snap-in means are released. The draft taper or curve allows a threaded engagement of the cover with the housing and effects, for releasing the snap-in connection, a translation of a rotational movement of the cover into an axial movement of the same in a screw-on type manner. The snap-in means can be released in a power-saving manner by twisting the cover and they are forced to unlock by way of a restricted guidance having a threaded or curve engagement. The combination of snap-in connection of the cover and the housing and the draft taper or curve allowing a threaded or curve engagement for detaching the cover by twisting the same allows for a firm connection between the cover and the housing transmitting even high cleaning forces while facilitating a comparatively power-saving unlocking of the snap-in connection.
La présente invention concerne un manche d'une brosse à dents électrique comprenant un boîtier qui abrite une unité d'entraînement. Le boîtier présente un orifice avant ou arrière qui peut être fermé par un couvercle, de préférence, étanche à l'humidité et au liquide. Le boîtier et/ou le couvercle est pourvu de moyens d'encliquetage qui permettent d'encliqueter le couvercle sur le boîtier. Une association encliquetage et vissage permet de déverrouiller le couvercle du boîtier. Selon l'invention, au moins un élément incliné ou incurvé de détachement, situé sur le boîtier et/ou le couvercle et ascendant par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du boîtier, permet de soulever le couvercle axialement du boîtier par rotation autour de l'axe longitudinal du boîtier et de détacher les moyens d'encliquetage. L'élément incliné ou incurvé de détachement permet d'effectuer un vissage du couvercle sur le boîtier et, pour détacher l'encliquetage, une conversion d'une rotation du couvercle en un déplacement axial de ce dernier à la manière d'un vissage. La rotation du couvercle permet de détacher avec peu d'effort les moyens d'encliquetage qui sont forcés au déverrouillage par un guidage forcé par l'actionnement d'un élément fileté ou incurvé. La combinaison de l'encliquetage du couvercle sur le boîtier et de l'élément incliné ou incurvé de détachement permettant l'actionnement d'un élément fileté ou incurvé en vue de détacher le couvercle par rotation de ce dernier, permet d'obtenir, d'une part, une liaison entre le couvercle et le boîtier, qui soit solide et transmette même des forces de nettoyage élevées et, d'autre part, un déverrouillage de l'encliquetage avec relativement peu d'effort.
