ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The conventional device for supporting an infant in a bath includes a wire frame for supporting a fabric panel in an inclined position. A relatively simple, safe flotation device for use when bathing an infant includes a generally U-shaped block of buoyant cellular foam, which is covered by a terry cloth or other soft fabric cover. The child is placed on the device with his or her head resting on the crossbar portion of the body, the body of the child being supported between the arms. The device is sufficiently wide that tipping is virtually impossible.
