ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The specification describes a hanger for supporting sound absorbing panels wherein the panels have a top frame member with a depending lip, the hanger comprising two perpendicularly connected plates with one of the plates having a support member comprising a portion of the plate formed inwardly and upwardly toward the other plate; wherein the support member can engage the depending lip of the frame member and thereby support the panel, and the other plate can support the hanger by being attached to a supporting structure.
