Abstract of the Disclosure Card storage system in which cards such as file cards are suspended in a box, tray or other receptacle by means of laterally extending shoulders on the cards. The shoulders incline inwardly and downwardly from the upper portions of the lateral edges of the cards and tend to keep the cards centered laterally as well as upright in the receptacle. The system can be utilized with existing receptacles as well as new ones.
