A hard capsule which is made mainly of a polymer or copolymer obtained by polymerizing or copolymerizing at least one polymerizable vinyl monomer in the presence of polyvinyl alcohol and/or a derivative thereof. Unlike conventional hard capsules, this hard capsule can be filled with a solvent (e.g., polyethylene glycol) for a sparingly soluble drug ingredient.

Capsule en dur qui est faite principalement d'un polymère ou d'un copolymère obtenu par polymérisation ou copolymérisation d'au moins un monomère de vinyle polymérisable en présence d'un alcool polyvinylique et/ou d'un dérivé de celui-ci. A la différence des capsules en dur traditionnelles, cette capsule peut être remplie d'un solvant (p.ex., de polyéthylèneglycol) pour obtenir un composant de médicament soluble de façon économique.
