A hard cover product (10) having an outer line« d2) attached to a pair of sheet members (14,16) disposed in spaced-apart relation to define a gap (22). One of the hard sheet members defines a receiving zone that receives a security tag (24). An inner liner (18) attaches overlying the pair of hard sheet members and concealing the security tag within the receiving zone. The gap (22) between the pair of sheet members dines a spine for the hard cover product, whereby the opposing hard sheets refining a front cover and back cover that move together foldably. The hard cover product can be made from an intermediate cover board in which a primary sheet has a first thickness and opening planar surfaces define an opening in a selected portion of the sheet to receive a security device (24). A pair of opposing secondary sheets laminate to the opposing planar surfaces of the primary sheet to enclose the security. The hard cover product defines a gap in spine portion which receives a security device (24).
L'invention concerne un produit à couverture rigide qui comprend une couverture extérieure fixée à une paire d'éléments feuille disposés à l'écart l'un de l'autre pour former un espace. Un des éléments feuille rigide comporte une zone de réception qui loge une étiquette de sécurité. Une couverture intérieure recouvre la paire d'éléments feuille rigides et dissimule l'étiquette de sécurité dans la zone de réception. L'espace entre la paire d'éléments feuille forme le dos du produit à couverture rigide, les feuilles rigides opposées formant le plat recto et le plat verso mutuellement mobiles de manière rabattable. Le produit à couverture rigide peut être formé au moyen d'un plat intermédiaire ayant une feuille primaire d'une première épaisseur; une ouverture étant ménagée dans une partie précise des surfaces planes opposées pour loger un dispositif de sécurité. Une paire de feuilles secondaires opposées sont appliquées en couches sur les surfaces planes opposées de la feuille primaire pour fermer le dispositif de sécurité. Par ailleurs, l'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication du plat intermédiaire stratifié. Le produit à couverture rigide comporte un espace dans la partie dos qui est destiné à loger le dispositif de sécurité.
