There is provided a hard surface cleaning composition comprising: (a) a water soluble organic solvent; (b) an anionic surfactant which comprises the reaction product of maleic acid, fumaric acid, itaconic acid, or a mixture thereof and at least one selected poly(oxyalkylated) polyol or epoxy-capped poly(oxyalkylated) polyol m the presence of a peroxy-type free radical initiator to form a carboxylic group containing addition product,; and (c) a third component comprising a chelating agent or a nonionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of alcohol alkoxylates, alcohol block alkoxylates, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene block surfactants, and mixtures thereof.

On présente une composition de nettoyage de surfaces dures comprenant : (a) un solvant organique soluble dans l'eau; (b) un surfactif anionique qui comprend le produit de réaction d'acide maléique, d'acide fumarique, d'acide itaconique, ou un mélange de ceux-ci et au moins un poly(oxyalkylés) polyol sélectionné ou un poly(oxyalkylé) à coiffe époxy polyol m en présence d'un initiateur de radicaux libres de type peroxy pour former un produit d'addition contenant un groupe carboxylique; et (c) un troisième composant comprenant un agent chélatant ou un surfactif non ionique sélectionné dans le groupe constitué d'alcoxylates d'alcool, d'alcool alcoxylates de bloc, de surfactifs séquencés de polyoxyéthylène/polyoxypropylène et de mélanges de ceux-ci.
