The hardenable ceramic hydraulic cement comprises a drug to be delivered to the human or animal body upon degradation or dissolution of the hardened cement. The cement comprises the following reactive components to be mixed: component A: calcium and/or sodium salts of inorganic and/or organic acids; and component B: an aqueous solution of sodium or calcium silicate. The main advantage of the cement according to the invention is the relatively short dissolving time of the hardened implanted cement compared to prior art cements which allows for faster delivery of drugs.
L'invention porte sur un ciment hydraulique céramique durcissable comportant un médicament se diffusant dans le corps de l'homme ou de l'animal lors de la dégradation ou de la dissolution du ciment une fois durci. Ledit ciment consiste en un mélange des composants réactif suivants: (A) des sels de calcium et/ou sodium d'acides organiques et/ou minéraux, et (B) une solution aqueuse de silicate de sodium ou de calcium. L'avantage principal dudit ciment réside dans son temps relativement court de dissolution une fois implanté par rapports aux ciments antérieurs, ce qui permet une diffusion plus rapide des médicaments.
