An orthopaedic splinting bandage comprises a substrate which carriers an isocyanate functional resin containing residues of a diol, triol or tetrol and an aromatic polyisocyanate. The diol is a polyethylene glycol, the triol or tetrol has a molecular weight of less than 200 and the weight ratio of diol and triol or tetrol to aromatic isocyanate is less than 1:1. The resins will normally contain conventional additives such as catalysts, stabilizers, antifoams etc.
