The invention provides a hardware attachment system for display and shelving units utilizing removable mounting studs which engage through the display panels into slots provided in the hardware. The studs are positioned at any desired location on the panels of the display or shelving unit, and concealed by the hardware when mounted while providing secure engagement of the hardware to the panel. In the preferred embodiment, the stud is inserted through the rear of the panel and projects slightly beyond the front face of the panel when fully inserted so the hardware does not contact the panel. The invention can also be used for affixing abutting sections of the display unit. Thus, the invention allows for the versatile positioning of hardware without detracting from the aesthetic appeal or sacrificing the load bearing capability of the unit.
L'invention a trait à un système de fixation pour meubles d'étalage et rayonnages utilisant des montants amovibles qui passent à travers les panneaux d'étalage et s'engagent dans des fentes que comportent les accessoires de fixation. Les montants se placent où l'on veut sur les panneaux du meuble d'étalage ou du rayonnage et ils sont cachés par les accessoires de fixation une fois montés tout en assurant une prise solide des accessoires sur les panneaux. Dans l'application préférée, les montants sont insérés par l'arrière du panneau et dépassent légèrement la face avant du panneau quand ils sont complètement insérés de façon que les accessoires de fixation ne touchent pas au panneau. L'invention prévoit aussi l'assemblage bout à bout de sections du meuble d'étalage. Elle permet donc divers arrangements des accessoires de fixation sans porter atteinte à l'aspect esthétique ni sacrifier la capacité portante du meuble.
