ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Harnessing devices with serrated straps are known in the art. This invention provides a harnessing device having a locking head and a guide channel extending longitudinally there- through, a locking tang deflectable into and out of the guide channel and an apertured locking strap secured at one end to the locking head and having the free end insertable into said guide channel, the improvement comprising the provision of a strap formed into a ladder structure with side rails each having a cylindrical surface and being cross coupled by transverse linear rungs which also have cylindrical surfaces. This facilitates the engagement of successive rungs by the locking tang and the securing of the strap in the locking head.
